  1. I just read your blog after contacting Sue Maxwell by email. We rescued two small dogs four years ago and were stunned when they showed serious aggression towards other dogs and to anyone visiting our home. After numerous trainers we are still in the same position. We live in Lake County and I am at my wits end. I love my dogs and I will not get rid of them. I am contacting you hoping you can give me some advice.

    • Commitment to our dogs is sometimes not an easy thing, and believe me there were times when I just wanted to give up. Today looking back I’m glad I kept the bar high with Abby, she behaving better than I ever though possible and the better she get the higher the bar goes. I guest the best advice I can give you is work with a trainer that will find the best training method for your dogs and once the you have a plan be committed to it, consistency is king! I will email more…

  2. Hi,
Loved your write up about dog poop and people not picking after the dogs poop. We feel very strongly about this as well! We found out the reason people don’t pick up is because they are grossed by the warmth and texture of it. We had this problem and came up with a convenient way to tackle this issue. I hope you will get a chance to check it out and help your readers with this easy to use product to be more responsible and feel ok about the act itself!

Thank you for addressing this issue! LOVE your beautiful DIVA!

  3. Hi,
I am the Editorial Assistant for the Out & About Magazine of South County, located in Gilroy Ca.
I found a photo of you hiking with your dogs and others and wanted to know if I could use it in our magazine? There is a local hike for dogs event and it’s a great shot that would work for this event.
We would of course give you credit for the photo.
